Air Showers
Rotation air shower
Air showers are used to minimize the introduction of particles into the cleanroom sitting on cleanroom garments and material surfaces. M+W Zander has developed various air shower systems for all kind of personnel and material traffic which allow easy integration into different cleanroom designs. The use of rotation air showers is recommended for low volume personnel and material traffic or due to limited space available for the integration of an air shower. To remove particles from surfaces personnel and materials are brushed with powerful air jets through vertically installed nozzles in all four corners of the air shower generating a controlled vortex top down. The forces of the vortex ensure a high efficient removal of particles prior to entering the cleanroom. The modular design and modest space requirements for installation allow easy retrofits of existing cleanroom facilities.
Tunnel air shower

M+W Zander has developed various air shower systems for all kind of personnel and material traffic which allow easy integration into different cleanroom designs. The use of tunnel air showers is recommended for high volume personnel and material traffic. The basic version of the tunnel air shower comprises two facing modules which can be easily extended into longer aisles through adding modules.
