Ultra filter fan units - standard
The Ultra Filter Fan Units - Standard complete our existing FFU product line and are suitable especially for those cleanroom applications which do not require individual speed control and central monitoring. The FFU consists of a aluminium case with integrated motor-fan-unit, sound attenuator and filter cell. A special AC motor and impeller was developed for the Ultra Filter Fan Unit - Standard. The motor is a single-phase AC external rotor motor with internal-wired thermal contacts for overload protection. The air intake nozzle with protection grid and plug-in panel are located on top of the unit. A pre-manufactured plug-in cable system supplies power to the units connected in series. Phase intersection units are used to control the speed in groups of up to eight units. For monitoring purposes a control panel or a beeper are optional available to provide a failure signal in case of motor malfunction. Besides the standard grid sizes of 600x1200 mm and 1200x1200 mm, special sizes are available upon request. The combination of M+W Zander Ultra Filter Fan Units and ceiling grid systems allows an easy and fast installation from the cleanroom side. Filter Fan Unit and filter cell can be installed separately.
Ultra filter fan units - hightec
The application of Filter Fan Units, equipped with DC motor, central individual control and monitoring currently represents the most economic way to operate large cleanroom facilities.
The M+W Zander Ultra Filter Fan Unit - Hightec consists of a metal case with integrated sound attenuators. The FFU is powered by a compact unit consisting of a DC external rotor motor with screwed-down impeller, air intake with protection grid and plug-in panel with LED power indicator, fuse, power and bus terminal. The filter cell is not permanently sealed to the FFU case and can be replaced from below as required. In larger installations consisting of several thousand FFUs power is supplied through an easy to install flat-cable system with premanufactured plug&play connectors.
The M+W Zander Ultra Filter Fan Units - Hightec are equipped with a control and monitoring system. Based on LON (Local Operating Network) the FFUs are linked to a network through a premanufactured and easy to install bus cabling system. A central PC with graphical user interface or a decentralized hand terminal can communicate with each Filter Fan Unit and allows individual settings and monitoring. When the system is operated through a PC workstation the Filter Fan Units can be monitored by permanent ring polling. Fault messages are automatically displayed and logged in error files.
Besides the standard grid sizes of 600x1200 mm and 1200x1200 mm, special sizes are available upon request. Ultra filter fan units - compact
The new development of Ultra Filter Fan Units - Compact complete our existing FFU product line through a very compact unit, especially suitable for those cleanroom applications with limited clearance in the ceiling plenum and which do not require individual speed control and central monitoring.
The FFU consists of a aluminium case with integrated motor-fan-unit, sound attenuator and filter cell. FFU case and filter cell are permanently sealed but can be separated by cutting off the seal for filter cell replacement. A special AC motor and impeller was developed for the Ultra Filter Fan Unit - Compact. The motor is a single-phase AC external rotor motor with internal-wired thermal contacts for overload protection. The air intake nozzle with protection grid and plug-in panel are located on top of the unit. A premanufactured plug-in cable system supplies power to the units connected in series.
