2-Glove and 4-Glove Isolator
The development to highly active ingredients in the pharmaceutical industry leads to higher requirements for the processing of these ingredients relating to product and operator protection. In the bio and genetic engineering and the chemical industry as well the production requirements continue to increase: More and more processes take place in rooms with checked environmental conditions. These cleanrooms are subject to strict guidelines.
An isolator offers protection for a product or a person. When operating the isolator with positive pressure the product is protected from the environment, when operating the isolator with negative pressure the environment is protected from the product.
Seminar: The technology of isolators - theory and practice
Basic Principles - Planning - Qualification - Operation
- Fundamentals: Guidelines and Standards
- Practical use of isolator technology
Isolators: one of the most interesting and innovative technologies, which is increasingly being used in the pharmaceutical and API (active pharmaceutical ingredient) industry. In particular, the ability to segregate certain critical processes by the use of isolators offers many advantages, e.g. by keeping processes sterile, preventing contamination and protecting personnel. These are important attributes for both sterile and aseptic production as well as for carrying out particularly sensitive analytical tests in the Quality Control laboratories.
